WIW: Monday, back at it edition

While we are still in the middle of summer our work allows for casual dress. Since (as a general rule) I don’t like pants I usually wear a dress or skirt. Today is no exception. The skirt (currently on sale) and top are from Loft, and the denim jacket is from Old Navy. My wedges are Jessica Simpson via DSW (I’m telling you…sponsor me) which I got “for free” because of earned gift certificates (they also come in an amazing Coral and Turquoise color). Ignore my slumpy purse-I bought it at TJ Maxx a few years ago for a “concert” bag and only use it when running around-I never changed it out after the weekend.

This Is Why DSW Should Sponsor Me

Being a Premier Member at DSW has its (major perks). DSW will give coupons for triple points. With the shoes I just ordered for the family, I got a $30 certificate. Then I had another $5 certificate (for some reason-I’m not really sure, but it was in my account). I saw some wedges that I liked last night in the store, but they were around $55. However, I went to check online, and the same shoe was on clearance for $34.94! Another perk? Free next day shipping 🙂

My new Jessica Simpson wedges will be at the house tomorrow!!

On a fun note, I told  my co-worker that I got a pair of wedges for free. She said how, and I told her. She then said that it sounded like a bad info commercial, “Tell me how!”

Pumped Up Kicks

I ordered the kiddo new shoes yesterday. Thanks to me spending waaaay too much money with DSW (I’m telling you, they should sponsor me) I now get free next day shipping (Premier status people). I think she has cooler shoes than I do, and that’s saying something.

WIW:work edition Tuesday

Totally failed at remembering yesterday.

However, today is a new day! It’s my last day of work this week (yay!!).

So, thanks to the work bathroom mirror here is what I wore.

The tank is old-probably around 5 years old. The skirt is from JC Penny. The wedges are from DSW (my go to for shoes. Seriously, they should sponsor me). Fitbit. Coach watch. Key card.

The best neutral lipstick. Modesty (A23). It is the lipstick I wore for my wedding, and it’s amazing. God Bless MAC.

Sunday edition: WIW

Today, my BFF, Amanda, is coming over to show me how to make Pom-poms (think Pinterest, not cheerleaders) for the kiddos birthday party next week.

The tank top and maxi skirt I’m wearing are from Loft but they’re from over 2 years ago whiting worked there part time. The necklace is from a little store at a local mall, also several years old.

    

the lipgloss is a sample I got in an ipsy bag. It’s matte which is odd feeling but I like the color.

Saturday edition: WIW: running errands

So, part of the idea behind this blog was to share outfits that I, M, and the kiddo wear. We consider ourselves fashionable, and I always get compliments on my outfits at work.

Today M and I had to run some errands so this is what I wore:

I’ve been trying lately to mix patterns more. It’s a risk I don’t normally take, but it’s nothing to fear. Plus, it is kind of fun to see what you can make with what you have.
